Was, simply put, awesome.  It was our first tournament and we could not have had a better time if we tried.  Aidan had a blast “playing” in the games and it was a very important weekend for him skills-wise.  We saw him skate, by himself, for at least half the rink uninterrupted.  He also made great strides on getting up from the ice on his own.
On a non-skill note, we really enjoyed getting to know the other parents and players.  We were so proud to watch the team play together – we consider ourselves very lucky to be a part of such a wonderful organization made up of unbelievable players, mentors, parents and most of all, coaches.
On another note – Zach Erdman is beyond words amazing – not only with Aidan, but with other Cool Cats and players from other teams.  Aidan loves him and often won’t leave the locker room without him.  Watching Zach at Frankenfest out on the ice with the Cool Cats and the other teams was one of the most amazing things to watch. If he saw a player from the other team “out of the action” he would go over to that player, put his arm around them, talk to them and get them back in the game.  He is amazing.
Thank you for everything!  Aidan loves loves loves hockey and the Cool Cats!
